What to expect
We help accelerate the healing process during the recovery phase, using Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). Some of our post-op clients being still in pain can’t stand the idea of somebody touching their wounds, but most of the time they'd be surprised by our therapist’s gentle touch, especially when noticing results are achieved.
Duration
Post-op MLD treatments are offered in 45-minute and 60-minute. Purchase of a money-saving packages of treatments is recommended. Clients should consider scheduling 5-10 visits with us after surgery, as often as two to three times per week.
What you’ll like
Undergoing cosmetic or reconstructive surgery is one of the biggest life decisions a woman will make. But little thought goes into readying the body for surgery or post-op treatment and recovery. An MLD treatment 24 to 48 hours before surgery will help prepare your body’s immune system for the surgery, helping to fortify it against the upcoming trauma. As for post-op treatments, Manual Lymphatic Drainage greatly aids in reducing swelling and bruising, and limits the development of unsightly scars that these procedures can leave.
